My first Bengali film

I just finished shooting a Bengali film. Now I always thought Bengali films were made with limited resources and small budgets. All that seems to be far away in the past.

Behind the Scenes

The story was very mature and so was the direction. Rituporno took me through the story and briefed me on my scenes so meticulously; I was compelled to spend my time thinking my character through. I had to think about every, because I could feel the gravity of emotion behind every scene.

I had to return to Mumbai for a day, and I felt myself dying to go back. I never had to compromise on anything. I give full credit to the production team for that.

I have watched my bits in the movie, and I know the story. Now I am dying to know what the film looks like. Seriously, this is a part of the film industry that I will never underestimate. I wish Rituporno and the producers the best of everything. And I hope the audience enjoys this film, as well as I enjoyed shooting it.
